From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The pilot could not retract gear on climb out, gear handle locked in down position. Pilot exited the traffic pattern to troubleshoot the landing gear problem. A loss of electrical power, while troubleshooting the landing gear problem, resulted in instrumentation failure. Before the loss of electrical power, the landing gear system indicated three green down lights. The pilot then returned to the airport for landing. The pilot made the approach with a blank PFD, which turned off and on a couple of times. Upon landing the pilot stated he turned a little close and made a hard landing, causing the nose gear to collapse.
