From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot reported, upon landing he heard a grinding sound from the main landing gear and the aircraft began to pull hard to the right, which tipped the aircraft to its left causing the left hand wing tip and left outer wheel assembly to contact the runway. The contact forced the aircraft back level and departed the runway. While exiting the runway into the grass, the tail wheel assembly broke off the aircraft as well. The pilot reported finding what appeared to be ground up rocks embedded in the right hand brake assembly.
