From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

During a touch and go on runway 06, deer appeared on the runway. Pilot stated that he cleaned up the aircraft after touch down, and was going to make another take off when a deer appeared on his right side (south). He made an evasive manuever to avoid the animal. The animal appeared to slip and go under the left wing. No impact noise was herd. Pilot made a radio call that he may have hit a deer. After shutdown, the aircraft was inspected, no damage was noted. Only a small amount of blood and a few hairs were noted on one prop tip.
