From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On July 16th pilot stated to on-scene sheriff deputy that he had to make an emergency landing and the rudder failed. Because of failure the aircraft ended up in a ditch.

In August the pilot stated in a written statement he was performing hi-speed taxi test, started losing control, and ended up in the ditch.

In September the pilot stated he took-off during a high-speed taxi (on the same local road he ended up in the ditch) because the aircraft was out-of-control during the high-speed taxi.
