From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The pilot looked at the engine instrument and everything appered normal and when he looked back up he observed oil streaking across the windscreen. The pilot was off centerline looked back and made a turn to land back at the Bremerton airport. The pilot landed and was on the landing roll out when he noticed the white strips on the end of the runway. The pilot got on the brakes and the aircraft ended up on it's nose.
