From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

At about 1:00 pm on Wednesday 8/13/2014, pilot advised ground control that he was intended to carry out a high speed taxi with a possible lift off and immediate landing. The pilot taxied to run way 18L and speeded up to about 80 knots and rotated. The aircraft lifted approximately 1 to 2 feet off the runway. The pilot immediately shut off power and landed back on the runway, at which point the nose gear collapsed and aircraft skidded to a halt onto the grass on the right side of the runway.
