On September 19, 2014 at 08:47 local time aircraft N322QS completed an instrument approach to landing on runway 1 at Lone Star Executive Airport. The SIC was the flying pilot at the time. The aircraft touched down at approximately the 1200' mark on a 5,000' runway. The weather at the time was reported to be medium to heavy rains. The SIC applied medium, followed by increased to maximum breaking with no effect on the aircraft slowing. The emergency brake was then applied, still having little effect on the forward motion of the aircraft. Marks that were left on the runway by the main tires and aircraft computer data indicated approximately 1877' of paved runway was remaining at the time the emergency brakes were applied. The aircraft left the south end of runway 1 and traveled approximately 400' in soft muddy terrain, over an embankment coming to rest in a small revene. The captain and SIC exited the aircraft with no injuries incurred. The aircraft received substantial damage to the nose section, nose landing gear and right main gear door/fuel cell area.
