From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft landed on runway 5L and the nose gear collapsed. Pilot exited aircraft and walked to grass on rundway edge. No injuries occurred. Pilot was 61.56 current and held a current medical certificate at the time. Horizon avionics inspected the landing gear after the incident. They did not find any mechanical abnormalities: the landing gear cycled correctly in both directions with all three gear locks engaging. The results of the inspection are inconclusive for determining the cause of the gear collapse.
