From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

After takeoff gear handle was raised gear seemed to come up but there was no indication of up and locked. Gear pump motor remained on. After leveling off tried to lower gear, nose came out and locked, mains came out didn't lock. Tried to hand pump down with no luck. Upon arrival at home base mechanics verified during flyby that nose was down and that mains were out but not locked. Proceeded to a grass strip to minimize damage to aircraft. Landed with nose wheel down. When aircraft came to stop it leaned over on left stab and elev. Causing minor damage
