From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

PIC was giving flight instruction to aircraft owner towards a tailwheel endorsement. While conducting touch and go landings at minneapolis Airlake Airport (lvn), on the third circuit of landings, the aircraft started to oscillate right to left after touching down on the main gear on the runway. The flight instructor stated that as the aircraft went to the right, he applied hard left rudder and started to tell the aircraft owner to not apply brakes. Before he could do so, the aircraft owner applied brake pressure and the aircraft nosed over slowly and ended up inverted about 1/3 of the way down the runway.
