From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

N400RA with 9 souls on board hit a dirt berm at the end of runway 09 at koliganek (pajz). Causing damage to left main landing gear. Pilot made attempts to raise gear, but gear failed to rise. Aircraft proceded to igiugig (paig) where an observer examined the gear as the aircraft made low passes over the runway. The observer acknowledged that there was extensive damage to the gear. A decision was made to fly the aircraft to King Salmon (pakn), due to it being the closest airport with an emergency response team. As the aircraft landed the left gear folded underneath the left wing and the aircraft skidded for a 1000 feet and came to a rest. No injuries reported.
