From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft landed rwy 32 at G05 and, subsequently, the gear retracted allowing the aircraft to come to rest on the retracted gear. Gear doors were damaged. Tire marks on rwy indicated the aircraft was drifting left and a furrow made by the LH inbd gear door was located on the left side of the runway. The furrow was approximately 100 feet long and remained within 10 feet of the rwy its entire length. The furrow terminated where the aircraft regained the runway. The aircraft came to rest pointing approximately 45 degrees to the right of the rwy heading. There was a 9 kt crosswind from 010, a 50 degree right crosswind. The aircraft was removed from the runway and put in a hangar where the landing gear was swung. No anomalies were noted in the operational check of the landing gear.
