From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The aircraft departed from zephyrhills enroute to Flying w air ranch (9FL1). Upon arrival, the PIC made numerous attempts to enter the pattern and circled above the airport due to a large volume of flight activity there. While on final approach another aircraft taxied onto the runway to backtaxi. The PIC elected to continue the approach, fly over the aircraft, and extend his landing spot. In doing so he allowed the aircraft airspeed to decay to a critical point, appearing to have stalled at an altitude of approximately between 10 and 20 feet above the ground. The aircraft impacted the runway, bounced, then made ground contact on the nosegear resulting in the aircraft flipping over, coming to a final resting position inverted and left of centerline.

As the FAA filed it
