From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On final approach, pilot was unable to see runway environment, and claims to have initiated a go around 2 miles from the runway. During the go around he retracted gear and flaps, but then noticed the runway and attempted to land. During landing he forgot to put the gear back down. During flare - an aircraft holding short indicated that the gear was not down. Upon hearing this, the pilot initiated a go around - during which both props struck the runway. The aircraft returned for landing without further incident.
