On 3/7/2015 the pilot was operating aircraft N299BH from georgetown municipal airport (kgtu) to Jones farm field (OK12) in VFR conditions. Aircraft N299BH is registered as a Bearhawk model aircraft, serial number 064-121-122-930, which is a fix wing single engine aircraft with the certification category as experimental-amateur built.
At approximately 2020 central time, while landing at OK12 the aircraft, N299BH veered off the grass/turfed runway. The aircraft had two people on board which received no injuries. After landing/touchdown while the aircraft was rolling forward, the pilot started applying brakes. The pilot stated he could see the aircraft had begun veering to the right and applied left rudder/brake & left aileron correction, but the aircraft continued to the right, bouncing back into the air and then landing again while departing the runway. The aircraft struck a barbed wire fence & a 2 inch steel-end post set in concrete, about 115 feet to the side of the runway.
