From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot stated that he was spraying a field next to a two lane road with an adjacent power line. During the spray run, the road curved and due to the wind, the aircraft was skidding closer to the power line than he was comfortable with. The pilot initiated a pull up and rolled right, striking a power pole that was approximately 6 feet taller than the other poles on the line. The collision removed the outer 3 feet of non-structural wing tip area. Aircraft rolled right. Pilot recovered aircraft to home base without further incident.
