From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

On may 27, 2015 approximately 4:15 pm privacy data omitted pilot of N1732M a Cessna 337 collided into a stationary satellite dish and building. Pilot privacy data omitted taxi from his hanger on the north side of Melbourne International Airport on to taxiway k towards runway 9L during this time he requested permission to take off in accordance with a flight plan file. Air traffic controller told him his file plan has expired and must return to his hanger and re-file. During this time the pilot wasn?t heeding any of the ATC commands and slurring his words on all transmission. On taxi way kilo during taxi to runway 9L the aircraft was reported to be running off the taxiway into the grass which was evented by tire marks and tracks in grass right before the hold short line of runway 9L after many attempts from ATC to get the pilot to stop taxiing on taxi kilo towards runway 9L. The pilot then turns the aircraft into right turn into the grass through a gully then 50 plus yards straight toward a satellite dish and communication building situated on the perimeter of the airport property. The arch of the turn would have been the same if would have gone on the runway. Melbourne airport police and fire rescue responded to the accident. The aircraft hit the stationary satellite dish pole and building on the left outboard wing the damage resulted in leading edge and forward wing spar damage. During the accident investigation by the Melbourne airport police during interviews with the pilot and passenger a 10 year old son, the police officers suspect the pilot was intoxicated and ask if he would submit to field sobriety test and the pilot refused to perform any test or answer any question . The pilot was placed under arrest and charged with Florida state statute 860.13.1.a operating aircraft under the influence of alcohol. During the interviews the 10 year old son showed the police officers a brief case bag with two bottles of alcohol beverages. No injures occurred on both the pilot and passenger in the aircraft during this accident.

On may 28, 2015 I inspected the aircraft at the accident site and discovered that the damamge to the left wing leading edge extended to the main spar. Interview the police department and received all reports produce by the Melbourne airport police and airport administration.
