From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On 6/10/2015 at approximately 15:05 EDT pilot landed on rwy 1 at gfl after shutting down the LH engine due to high temperature of the # 3 and # 5 cylinders, accompanied by high oil temperature and low oil pressure of the left engine.

On June 19, 2015 an engine teardown inspection found that the # 5 cylinder had severe scoring and 'washboarding' of the cylinder walls, which was due to the installation and use of chrome rings inside a chrome plated cylinder assembly.
