From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

During the take-off roll on runway 27 at K3GV, the left main wheel veered off the runway at approximately the 1000 feet marker. The left aircraft tire tracked parallel to the edge of the runway for about 200 feet in the mud. The aircraft then veered left, completely off the runway, and stopped in a ditch. The pilot stated that the aircraft accelerated faster than normal during take-off because of reduced weight and moved hard left. The wind was from 180 degrees at 17 knots at the time of the incident.
