From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The airman, upon being established on final approach to runway 11, identified 5-10 deer located on the right-hand side of the landing runway centerline. As the aircraft became established in the landing attitude, the airman attempted to reduce the descent rate and delay touchdown, to ensure the aircraft would touchdown beyond the location of the deer. Upon initial touchdown, the aircraft bounced several times before the aircraft?s left main wheel assembly separated from the aircraft?s fuselage; the airman did not attempt a go-around. The aircraft subsequently nosed-over, sliding to a stop upside-down on the left side of the landing runway. The airman was uninjured; the aircraft sustained substantial damage.

As the FAA filed it
