From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The aircraft landed runway 9 and appeared to be experiencing difficulty with the right main gear. The aircraft was right of centerline but maintained a track consistent on the runway . Several hundred feet later the right wing tip struck the 7th runway light on the right side causing the aircraft to veer right off the runway and the next impact was at the right wing root. The wing root struck the taxiway sign. Some short time after this the right main gear collapsed. The aircraft went across a taiway to a grassy median , across another taxiway then coming to rest in a grassy tie down area next to the taxiway. It was later revealled after observation that the landing gear on the right side was not in the down and locked position due to a mechanical issue.
