August 21, 2015
PA-18, supercub, N18LP departed page field, ft. myers, FL at about 1345. After some maneuvering in the area I flew to Labelle airport, X-14.
I arrived at Labelle, X-14, about 1415 and proceeded to the pattern. The pattern was entered at 1000 ft. and a left downwind was flown to runway 14 on the grass. The grass was tall and there did not appear to be water on the field. A normal approach was made to a landing.
On roll out, at idle power, as the aircraft was slowing to taxi speed, we encountered a low spot on the runway with about 3-4 inches of water. Water splashed up and over the wheels and the wheels dug into the soft grass, mud and water. The aircraft nosed over and ended up on its back. This happened in about the time it takes to read this.
With the top of the cabin resting in 3-4 inches of water, I released the seat belt and exited by the left window. I was not injured and started the reporting process.
