From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

FDX582 experienced a green laser illumination event originating from their 1 o'clock position while on approach to RWY30 at koak. Four laser events, approximately 4-5 seconds each resulted in the crew experiencing tearing, pressure, and blind spots. The crew was taken to the emergency room for eye exams and both pilots showed some irritation in their eyes. The doctor recommended they monitor themselves and see an eye doctor at home if there was any further discomfort.
