From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

I recieved a call from the regional call center regarding the incident, and was in conference with the NTSB and the pilot. The flight was uneventful until the landing at Renton. During taxi to the dock, the aircraft nosed over and sank. The pilot and on passenger evactuated the aircraft without injury, and made it to shore. King county emergency/rescue was on scene and evaluated the occupants, and the aircraft was lifted out of the water and stored. NTSB released the aircraft to the ownerprivacy data omitted, and determined that it would be classified as an incident. The aircraft is repairable.
