From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot declared an emergency inbound on runway 24L with a possible nose gear failure. Pilot stated he had indications that both main gear were down and locked but no indication on the nose gear. Manual extension of the gear was applied with no change. Aircraft made a low approach and was advised by tower that the gear appeared down. Pilot stated as he touched down he held the airspeed at a minimum and kept the nose gear up for as long as the airspeed would allow. As the nose gear touched it folded immediately and the airframe rode the prop until the airplane came to a stop. No injuries and minor damage to aircraft noted.
