They were on an instrument flight rules (IFR) flight plan from willow run airport (kyip) to kpwk. This leg of the trip was operated under part 91 to pick up organs. N240CK was on final approach when they encountered wind shear of 10-15 KTS. The PIC at the flight controls elected to perform a ?go around?. N240CK was vectored around for another ILS 16 into kpwk. The crew added 5 KTS to their approach speed. The second approach was stable and they continued to land. As they approached the runway, the SIC noticed the threshold markings and called ?go around? As the aircraft touched down. The aircraft landed straight and on the centerline. After touchdown the airbrakes were deployed and max braking applied. The aircraft skidded into the emergency material arresting system (emas) zone at the end of runway 16. No reports of braking action were noted. No injuries and minor damage.
