From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Email from pilot concerning incident: on February the 1st about 1130AM I was on a VFR approach into runway 1 at kdri, privacy data omitted went through my checklist and put my gear down and waited for three green lights. As I made my flare the plane started to sink I realized something was wrong with my gear but it was too late I immediately pulled my throttles all the way back. There was a witness that watched the whole thing and he stated that my gear was down and then as I crossed the threshold only the nose doors were open. We think there was a possible malfunction in the gear switch. The damage consist of the front gear doors, the inboard flaps, and the props. If you need any other info just let me know.
