From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The pilot was performing touch and go's in his GC-1B Globe at Centennial Airport. After having landed on rmy 17R, during rollout, the pilot mistakenly selected the gear up selector rather than flaps up knob, causing the gear to retract. The aircraft was traveling approx. 40 mph when the gear retracted and the aircraft lowered to the ground. As the aircraft lowered, the propeller struck the ground causing sudden stoppage of the engine and some minor damage to the belly of the aircraft. After receiving an all clear from fire and rescue, the NTSB authorized the clearance of N80775 from rwy 17R. The pilot experienced no injuries during the incident
