From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

PIC and sole occupant, privacy data omitted, stated that he flew a normal pattern to landing, at the Linden Airport, with his checklist displayed on his kneeboard. He stated that he may have been distracted from completing his before landing checklist during the approach to landing. He did not recall being distracted or hearing the landing gear warning horn during the approach to landing. He does believe that this system was working. His failure to extend the landing gear prior to touchdown did result in the aircraft landing on the runway in a gear-up configuration. This resulted in minor damage to the aircraft. There was no damage to other property and no reported injuries.
