From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot stated that after a normal landing he went to select the flaps up, and accidently hit the gear selector. The passenger a former pilot noticed that he had selected up on the wrong selector and initated a go-around to prevent the aircraft from doing a gear up. After the go-around a low pass took place to have the tower look at the gear, it appeared normal. Upon touch down the right MLG collapsed forcing the aircraft to veer off the runway. The aircrafts other gear (nose and lmlg) remained down and locked. The aircraft sustained damage to the right flap and step assembly, with minor scrapes of the right aileron and wingtip.
