What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
At the time of landing when the nose landing gear made contact with the runway surface, the nose wheel broke off. This resulted in the propeller making contact with ground. The nose strut also came in contact with the ground, forcing it back and up into the engine firewall. The firewall sustained multiple deformations and punctured into the cockpit area. The bottom forward fuselage area is also punctured and damaged.
