From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Roc advised that a Learjet, (N353CK), during landing at wilmington airport in Delaware (kilg), had controllability problems. Upon entering traffic pattern for rwy 27 at kilg, the PIC noted aircraft required asymmetrical control input to hold aircraft level. PIC stated when flaps and landing gear were extended the problem intensified and the PIC elected to perform a go-around. For the second landing attempt, the flight crew used a no flap configuration. Upon touchdown, the PIC said full aileron, (left), was required and the right tip tank struck the runway.
