From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft was being flown by persons unknown when they reported they were not getting three green landing gear indicator lights after extending gear. They performed an emergency gear extension by hand and asked tower to verify gear was down.

Fire trucks were called out for aircraft landing. Aircraft landed without further incident.

Owner of aircraft stated that the landing gear extension lights had been working intermittently, causing pilot to be unsure whether aircraft has gear down & locked.

Owner stated that they did not feel comfortable providing the name of the pilot or identifying what maintenance personnel had worked on the landing gear problem. They stated that after several attempts to determine the (intermittent indication) problem the landing gear motor was replaced. Since that time the landing gear has been working without further problems.

As the FAA filed it
