From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

While making a landing at a satellite airstrip, pilot noticed he had no right brake and aborted the landing. Pilot decided to return to home base to land with more favorable winds and a better landing area which was longer and wider. Upon landing the airplane into the wind and while slowing down experienced a gust of wind turning the airplane to the left. Pilot attempted to correct by applying full power in an attempt to arrest the left yaw. The aircraft did not respond quick enough resulting in the airplane veering off the left side of the runway.
