From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Winds were reported as 360 at 3 knots by nearby whiting field ASOS. Airman began takeoff roll on runway 36. Video of the takeoff and subsequent accident shows the aircraft begin to veer to the left approximate 5 seconds after the pilot applied power and the aircraft began the takeoff roll. Approximately 3 seconds later, the aircraft became airborne, tail low and with the right wing low. A few seconds later aircraft, at approximately 30 feet AGL, is seen stalling and then rolling to the left. Aircraft's left wing then contacted the ground and the aircraft ground looped to the left.
