From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Swa 2703 was being pushed back from gate A4. During the push back the tractor operator was turning the aircraft to the left side of the A4 ramp where a food service truck was parked awaiting for the next aircraft to service. The truck driver noticed the aircraft was turning towards his truck and attempt to move the truck out of the way of the moving aircraft. Intervertenly the truck made contact with the aircraft wich damaged the left semintar winglet. Maintenance removed both left and right semintar winglets and conducted an inlet strike conditional inspection. The winglets were placed on the cdl and the aircraft to return to service.
