From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

PIC departed on runway 05 after landing on runway 23 at (U63).

Upon takeoff climb out, PIC failed to establish climb rate that would allow clearing trees off the end of runway 05.

The aircraft's left out board wing impacted a tree which tore off the wing tip and outboard wing bay (approximately 18"). Tree was located approximately 1,575 feet straight off the departure end of runway 05. Wing impacted tree approximately 30' from the ground level.

PIC was able to maintain control of the aircraft and elected return to mccall(myl) airport for an emergency landing.
