From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot stated that he departed camden, SC enroute to-myr. After departing camden while climbing through 8,000 ft. the low fuel pressure light came on and the engine flamed out. Pilot stated he attempted an air start with no avail and then turned toward Bishopville airport, lee county, SC, at this point he was 6,000 feet and 15 miles away and doing 120 KTS airspeed. He overshot the runway due to the speed and landed in a field off the end of runway 24.
