From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

After landing at kgcm, pilot added fuel and (1) passenger and was in route to wichita, Kansas. Prior to departure the pilot was advised by FBO manager that there was a dip in the taxiway (which was being used for to and ldg due to rwy closure). Pilot then taxied to the FAR end on the runway 17 departure area, completed run up and checklist, lined up on the center of the pavement and started takeoff roll. Pilot encountered dip in the takeoff pavement and became airborne prior to obtaining the required speed. Pilotattempted to regain control the airplane, but departed the taxiway and came to rest off the left side of the pavement area causing substantial damage to the aircraft. No personnel injuries.
