From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Upon landing on runway 18 the pilot stated that he had started to apply the brakes to start to slow the aircraft while the nose of the aircraft was off the ground. As the brakes were applied the aircraft started to veer to the left. Once the nose wheel touched down the pilot determined that he was too FAR to the left to use the nose wheel to correct the direction and decided to apply more brake pressure in an attempt to stop the aircraft. Once more brake pressure was applied the aircraft veered more to the left. The aircraft exited the east side of the runway surface approximately 1750 feet down the runway, crossing the intersection of taxiway h and coming to rest in the grass between runway 18 and taxiway b approximately 2000 feet down the runway.
