From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On October 19, 2016, at 13:12 captain stated that during his approach at wiley post airport (kpwa) he commanded the gear down in normal manner and that the left and right main landing gear came down and locked as usual with both green lights illuminated, but the landing gear powerpack motor ran for an extended time and that the landing gear control circuit breaker popped without the nose landing gear extending. He then began to attempt to pump the gear down by hand. He reported that the pump handle was extremely hard to move. The nose landing gear did not move. It was recommended that the aircraft would be safer landing at will rogers airport (okc) due to runway construction at wiley post airport (pwa). Captain privacy data omitted landed at 14:01 with no injuries.
