What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
Pilot ground looped the airplane during landing(phase of flight). Pilot stated that when he was in rollout and deccelerating a gust of wind from left to right pushed the airplane tail to the right (pilot estimated a 12 to 19 knot wind gust). The airplane veered to the left, the right wheel went into the ditch area (left side of runway 17). Airplane got stuck in ground indentation and struck right wing tip on the ground causing substantial damage to right wing. Right landing gear leaf spring was bent. Right horizontal stabilizer was damaged. No injuries were reported, no post crash fire.
