From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

While landing in weather below VFR minimums, pilots action resulted in a hard landing possible nose down attitude. Nose gear broke off and collapsed, aircraft continued down runway and came to rest just off the runway. Aircraft sustained substantial impact damage limited to the nose, nose landing gear and both engine propellers.

Pilot is not eligible for remedial training (rt) because he never admitted to be at fault for the hard landing and his decision making skills are in question. Therefore, a reexamination (44709) of his piloting skills will now be required.
