From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

At approximately 1930 on March 18, 2017, VMC clear weather, a Beech bonanza A36 (retractable gear) single-pilot landed at Sherman Municipal Airport. After a ?smooth landing? And while attempting to perform a ?touch and go?, the pilot reported that ?the nose wheel seemed to collapse?. The aircraft slid down the runway, veered off to the right, and came to a stop, and the right main gear then collapsed. The plane came to rest on the right wingtip in the grass. The damage visually appears to be limited to the right main landing gear and nose gear doors, and propeller tips bent. No injuries. Aircraft was towed from location to a hangar, and rmlg and NLG were extended and braced.
