From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The aircraft was just about to touch wheels down on the runway when the pilot decided to abort the landing and climb out. On the second attempt, the pilot was just about to touch the wheels on the runway when the aircraft rose suddenly followed by the slamming the aircraft down on the pavement of the runway. Unaware of the damage the pilot requested a tow truck since they were unable to taxi off the runway under their own power. The hard landing snapped the metal supports of all three landing gear. The aircraft came to rest on the landing gear struts and tail wheel landing gear scissors.
