From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Student pilot was on a solo cross country from K2R4 to kmvc to K2R4. Winds were calm and sky was clear. Upon landing on runway 21 at kmvc, pilot elected to conduct a touch and go and applied full power. Pilot reports that the aircraft swerved to the left and he had difficulty keeping aircraft nose on the centerline. Aircraft continued to the left, exiting the runway into the grass approximately 13OO feet from the approach end of runway 21. Aircraft came to rest in a barbed wire fence after traveling approximately 150 yards across the grass at a 45 degree angle to the runway. Upon inspection, it was noted that the wing flaps were in the 40 degree full down position. Damage to the aircraft included dented wing leading edges, a 12 inch gash in the underside of fuselage caused by a metal fence post, and damage to right wing end cap and navigation light.
