From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Upon landing on slushy snow at an off-airport area in the bush, aircraft propeller struck a snow berm and one blade broke off and separated from the aircraft. An engine mount was also damaged as a result of the propeller strike/separation. Further investigation revealed that an improper propeller was installed on the aircraft. The type certificate data sheet (1A2) for this aircraft and engine combination specifies a propeller diameter of not over 74 inches. The propeller installed had a diameter of 84 inches. Additional findings from the investigation not contributing to the incident will result in an enforcement action against the pilot.
