From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

During the final phase of the CFI check ride while in kgso traffic pattern they selected the gear down, the initial indication was 3 green. Shortly thereafter, they received an intermittent gear unsafe indication.

During the landing the right main landing gear collapsed and the aircraft skidded approximately 300 yards on the step on the right side of the aircraft before coming to rest. The damage appears to be limited to the aircraft step and right main landing gear. There was no damage to structures on the ground.
