From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. When the aircraft reached 10,000 feet, they remained in their jumpseats for a few additional minutes. After the flight smoothed out, all three flight attendants got out of their jumpseats. As soon as they were up and beginning service, the aircraft began to shake violently and made a jerk that lifted them off of their feet. Approaching level off at 14,000 feet they experienced 1-2 seconds of moderate turbulence. A couple of seconds later, flight attendant # 1 reported that flight attendant had injured her leg and needed medical assistance. The remainder of the flight was uneventful and medical personnel met the aircraft at the gate at jfk. (Exhibit-2)
