From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft was on a visual approach to runway 09 at Fremont Airport (14G). On short final the aircraft collided with a tractor trailer truck that was traveling northbound on state route 53. The left and right main landing gear struck the trailer causing the right main gear to separate and become embedded in the trailer. The aircraft continued to the runway touching down on the paved surface of the runway. Upon touchdown the aircraft swerved to the left when the left main gear separated from the aircraft. The aircraft left the paved surface of the runway. The nosewheel of the aircraft separated during the skid in the grass. Both engines and propellers were damanged. The aircraft came to rest in the grass area approximately 700 feet from the end of the runway.
